About Us
telescope, observatory, astronomy

Since time immemorial man has always had an insatiable urge to explore the zones unknown. The quest of acquiring knowledge, in the fields of Astrophysics and Astronomy, has always been a strong driving force.

An Observatory serves as a “Scientific Window” to quench the thirst of curiosity about Space & Skies, to get closer to the Celestial Bodies through a telescope and to witness Celestial Events that occur from time to time.

We, Astrro Creations & Impex Pvt Ltd, having commenced our Engineering operations since 1993 in the name of Mechentech Enterprises, expanded into precision fabrication and building of Observatories / Domes as turnkey projects. We have successfully commissioned a few such projects for Universities, Colleges and schools in India, to our credit.

Services

Expertise

We are specialist engineers with professional expertise in the field of setting up observatories and specialty structures with proven engineering excellence and high acumen.

Advance Technology

Our new design Observatory Dome is lighter in weight but at the same time greater in strength. The life is much longer due to its improved weather resisting property

Commitment

We use high-quality steel and raw material from renowned suppliers like SAIL, and VISL. The sheets used for cladding is a high density alloy from Japan

CREDENTIALS:

We take pride in putting forth that we have, to our credit, a series of highly successful Observatory Domes namely:
1. The University of Calicut, Kerala (Madhava Observatory) 6.5 mtr in diameter
2. St. Aloysius College at Mangalore – 4.0 mtr in diameter
3. Jnanodaya School at Bangalore – 4.2 mtr in diameter
4. St. Joseph’s College at Bangalore – 4.5 mtr in diameter
5. The Sagar School at Tijara Rajasthan – 5.0 mtr in diameter

Manufacturing, Fabrication, Erection & Commissioning of Scientific Structures, Observatories, Domes and Accessories are in growing demand and are used for professional as well as amateur study and research in Astrophysics & Astronomy.
To build and erect a perfect Observatory Dome is quite an arduous task as the parameters are quite challenging. The Dome’s hemispherical shape should be attained when all the co-ordinates, center-points and axes are in open spaces. The rotation should be smooth with minimum noise and vibrations. Many technically critical criteria have to be satisfied like smooth Shutter operations, static weight transfer, dynamic load balancing, effective leak-proofing against light-pollution and rains.

But despite of these challenging factors, the results speak for themselves as we stake our strongest claim of high point achievements, proving time and time again with a series of successful projects – State of Art Observatory Domes, winning accolades for the perfection, precision and quality. Thus we has established a name of prominence as a Specialist in Observatories and Domes.
